Gleason Legal & Notary Document Services provides low-cost, non-attorney, legal self-help assistance to members of the public who are representing themselves in legal matters. California law authorizes non-lawyers called "Legal Document Assistants" (LDAs) to preprare forms for consumers who wish to handle their own legal paperwork. LDAs prepare your documents under your specific direction, file them at the appropriate courts for you, and provide legal materials for your review that have been published or approved by an attorney. WHAT I DO

- File your documents with the County Clerk -
- Make sure all documents are signed, dated & filed in the correct order -
- Follow your documents through the process -
- Inform you of any updates from the Court -
- Manage all the complex and tedious details regarding the process of your documents -
- Notify you when the Court requires information, updates, etc. -
- Keep a dated record of when each step was completed -
- Make several copies as required for you and for the Court -
